Product Resource Page
The following lists are products I have evaluated or owned to aid in my activities of daily life (ADLs). I am also listing similar products you may want to evaluate for your needs. You can click on the image or Buy On Amazon button to get more information about a specific product. Please let me know if there any disability aids I can research or comment on for you.
Bariatric Rollators (supports up to 500 pounds)
I have owned the first one on the list, the NOVA Mighty Mack, for over six years. I have added a coffee cup holder and cane holder to the rollator as an enhancement. Be sure to measure the width and depth of the seat to make sure you will fit comfortably.
Bariatric Shower Benches and Chairs (supports up to 600 pounds)
I have owned the first one on the list, the Lumex Bench, for over seven years. Be sure to measure the width and depth of the seat to make sure you will fit comfortably and it will fit inside your shower or over top your tub.
Bariatric Canes (supports up to 600 pounds)
I have owned the first one on the list, the Nova Bariatric Cane, for over ten years. They are extremely sturdy and have never failed to support me. Note that you may have to replace the rubber tips at the bottom of the cane over time as they wear, especially if used on granular surfaces such as asphalt or concrete.
Toilet Rails (supports up to 600 pounds)
I bought the first one, Drive Medical rails, for my mom after breaking her hip and during cancer treatments for toilet support. Please be sure the rails support your weight and fit within your toilet space. Note if the rails will adjust high enough for your needs and will not slip when in place. Some move in and out of place as needed while others are anchored to your toilet.
Rollator Accessories
I have the first product, NOVA cup holder, attached to my rollator for the past four years. I love that it folds when not in use. Some may find cane holders, removable baskets, cup holders or flashlights most beneficial when using their rollators for carrying necessary items.
General Accessories
I use many of the products below in my ADLs. Don’t be afraid to think outside the box or use a tool to help you accomplish a task. Your safety and independence are important to maintain, so find the tools that help you achieve that!

Adjustable Beds
I have had this adjustable bed for four years and it is the best investment I’ve ever made! Being able to elevate my legs with my severe lymphedema brings much relief from pain and swelling. It holds my weight just fine and I also use the embedded USB ports. Raising the head works great for anyone with breathing, sleep apnea or GERD issues.
